We have the islands largest selection with around 6000 variants and 80,000 key blanks in stock at any one time, We can duplicate cylinder, mortice, lazer, restricted and just about any key for cars, houses, safes, motorbikes ,postboxes, roofracks, double glazing door & window locks etc.
We specialize in worn and bent/ broken keys.
If you have lost your keys and have a code number, We have the lastest computerized key cutting machines and codes to cut keys to a number.
We can cut keys whilst you wait or if your in a hurry you can drop off and collect later in our newly refurbished shop.
Vehicle Transponder & Remote Keys
All vehicles produced from 1995 onwards have a passive factory fitted immobilizer, which consists of a micro chip within the head of the key which communicates with the vehicles ecu (engine control unit) to enable starting of the vehicle. We can clone older fixed code transponder keys or as with the new style crypto keys we can programme onto the ecu.
At The Lock Shop we have a dedicated indoor vehicle key and remote programming bay with a diagnostic computer with the most up to date software aviliable to enable us the progamme about 85% of new keys and remotes.
